Emily Ate Carrots!

For the last couple weeks, Emily has been watching us when we eat, and then last night she tried to grab a roll and some broccoli from Mom's plate.  We decided she was ready to try some food!  Brandon was excited, and he wanted to have his own jar of baby food with his own baby spoon - we obliged.  It was a lot of fun for everyone.

We all braved 35 degree fog to cut down a tree for the first time.

Big brother:

Brandon started preschool last week, three days a week in the morning. He did great the first day - mom was more nervous than he was! He started a music class this fall, and is still doing soccer.

Little sister:

Emily is still a pretty content, easygoing baby. She smiles for anyone now, and loves watching her brother play. She is a champion sleeper right now, falling asleep by herself and sometimes sleeping through the night. Hopefully it lasts!

Welcome baby Emily!

Baby Emily came last night at 10:39 and was 6 lbs, 14 oz, and 20.5 inches long. Brandon was so excited to meet his little sister!

Summer is Here!

I started a soccer class this summer. We do warm-up stretches, play games, and run races.

I got to move into my new big boy bedroom a couple of weeks ago!

For my birthday, I got to play with all my new toys when I woke up, then I went to Enchanted Forest (a theme park for little kids), ate a birthday lunch at Red Robin, then I got to drive construction vehicles around on my birthday cake!
